Showmax delivers top-shelf subscription video-on-demand services (SVOD) to all of sub-Saharan Africa - the latest Hollywood films and TV, local telenovelas, Showmax Original dramas and comedies, international news, and even major sporting events (English Premier League games, Rugby World Cup, and more). The latter comes with all of the big-volume, concurrent live-streaming tech challenges that you’d expect - all with African infrastructure challenges laid on top. Our customer base runs the spectrum from rural Kenya to first-world Cape Town, and we’re managing more than a half-billion play events annually. Every day brings a new curveball, and we love it.

We are set to disrupt. We work in a fast-moving non-bureaucratic culture. The team of 8 who took on the first challenge is now more than 10 times bigger, growing the service at the same rate. Located in Prague, we deliver top-shelf subscription video-on-demand services to all of sub-Saharan Africa. And we won't relocate, we hire in Prague.
